The South China Morning Post (SCMP) is a famous newspaper and media group in Hong Kong. Following its acquisition by China’s tech giant Alibaba, the celebrated newspaper now aims at becoming a global media company, using technology to tell China’s story to global audiences. As a part of this transformation, the SCMP relocated its operations to a new, state-of the-art office. Occupying several floors in Causeway Bay’s Times Square, this new headquarters is designed to reflect and facilitate the makeover of SCMP’s corporate culture.

 

Space Design & Office Furniture:

  • An open area is made of Avail Bench with a frameless panel to provide more light and space for workers.
  • A multifunctional conference room and area allow workers to organize meetings and training of different scales.
  • The “C-shaped” conference table is customized to symbolize the brand image. Power and USB slots are available in the table without compromising the efficiency of any conference.
  • The ergonomic task chairs and executive chairs provide better health support for workers.
  • Customized storage cabinets are designed to fit with the interior design.
